DELHI - INDIA

We arrived in Delhi at about 2 am on New Year's Day (yes, we spent New Year's Eve on the plane), by the time we were through customs, immigration and baggage claim, had reached our accommodation and were finally in bed it was almost 5 am. Our first ministry was at 11 am that same day, where we were to speak at a church in a slum area.
We spent two weeks in Delhi reaching out to people in slums. Everyday we would walk to or take a public bus (usually a combination of both) for anything between 30 minutes to 2 hours to visit one of Delhi’s many slums. There we would have an evangelistic meeting with a drama, testimony and a message. Afterwards we made house visits, prayed
for people and of course drank the obligatory chai (very sweet tea). We also preached in a church in the middle of the slums.
