My name is Hanna Petermann, I'm 29 years young and I was born and raised in the beautiful town of Mainz, Germany. About my background: I grew up in a Christian home with five younger siblings. At the age of 4 I asked Jesus to become part of my life.
Today, 25 years later, I can testify that I never regretted this decision. Through all those years, including a “wild“ adolescence (ask my parents, I was some nightmare, I can tell ya :-)) Jesus has become my closest and most faithful friend. A friend I can count on to be right by my side through all the up's and down's of a normal “earthly“life. One thing is certain though, it never has been and never will be – boooooooring.
Well, it certainly spoiled me for a “normal“ life. Although another 9 years should pass before things got finally started.
After graduating High School in June of 1997 I worked as a nanny in the States (MI/ IL) for 6 months (Sept.'97 – March'98) before doing an apprenticeship as a travel agent with the German Railway Co. and working in this profession for about 3 years. Upon leaving school I started to become calm- and restless. Again and again I looked up information for different bible colleges, etc. Until at the end of 2002 I felt the right time had come and I began to prepare everything for my departure. So in September 2003 I finally “broke camp“ in Germany and left for Norway. More about my time in Norway, see “Norway“
