Hello from Tampa!

First day back in the USA. It is so strange to be back... I mean afterall it's been almost 9 years since my last visit.
And I've got to tell you it truly is by the grace of God that I am here. 'Cos I've got held up at customs and immigration as usual. Although this was the first time they actually made me miss my connecting flight. The officer I was talking to was all in my favor (he liked my face ), but he had to present the case to his supervisor who was very suspicious because there had been some unfortunate mix up at the consulate. As you can imagine I was praying a mile a minute and I am proud to say God came through - they let me in! I even got 2 extra days....

For now I am staying with a dear friend here in Tampa, FL. And incidentally we met at our DTS in Skien, Norway almost 7 years ago.

hit the road again...

as some of you may already know I did get into the school in March... which takes of in a week from tomorrow. So I'm flying out this Wednesday (March 24). I'll be spending a couple of days with a dear friend in Tampa first and then head over to Orlando next Sunday.
I am telling you this feels so surreal, you know, like it might happen sometime within the next year or decade or so - not within the next week.
Part of me is terrified out of my guts. You know, starting off again into an uncertain future. Not knowing where this road will let nor how to support it (not the school itself, but after that...)...
so many questions, so few answers...
thankfully there is also a part of me that knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that our God is indeed an awesome God. A good and faithful father and friend.

PS.: Before I forget last month I spent a weekend up in Skien, Norway - you know, the place where it all started, my first base. It was sooo good to come back 'home', to see so many dear friends again, people where witnesses to some very special God-moments and also where God simply spoke into my life - directly, through them or through others...
