WOW! These past 2 months/ 9 weeks have simply flown by and without realizing it my outreach is coming to a close. So weird...
Well, so far I've been having a real great time working here at the ECCP. And I simply love the big city life. I've got to say this is one of the few places in the world that I've been to where I felt right at h0me. Not that I felt particularly astranged or something at the other places. No, I think this is simply because here I am actually living in a city not just a town or village or something. ;-)
Last week one of my best friends, Anna, who also visited me in Thailand came for a 6-day visit which was a lot of fun and you know simply good to have a familiar face around. So inbetween my usual 'duties' here at the Project - coffee bar, women's drop in, counseling - we did some sightseeing. We went to Notting Hill and Portobello Market, Kensington Gardens and Peter Pan, Trafalgar Sq., Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Sq., the Tate Britain Museum, Covent Garden and on Wednesday we had a coffee bar outing to Eastbourne which we joined.
This week will be quite busy as well with a team coming to join us and my book report being due at the end of the week...
