Intermission

hello my dear friends and readers of this blog.
it's been two months since I returned from England. Time for me to process and evaluate. Time to pray and seek God. And after many 'rounds', where I once again had to learn to let go and put myself completely in the hands of God, to trust Him in the midst of doubts, troubles and uncertainties. But I finally came to a conclusion - it is time for me to take a break. emphasis on break. This is not the end of my missionary activities.
In a way this break or intermission is long overdue, because my finances haven't been doing well ever since I got back from Thailand. I guess I just wasn't ready before. See, I wanted the break to be about more than just the lack of finances cause that would have seemed like plain defeat.
Now I know that I want and need a break. Although it feels embarrasing to admit, fact is that I am downright exhausted - spiritually and emotionally. Which helped me realize more than ever that I can't do this job this calling without the backup of my church and I am not talking about financial support here (which nontheless is always needed and very much appreciated as well).

I don't know excatly how long this intermission while last. Probably somewhere between six months and a year. It also depends on how things pan out with my church.

Now you will want to know what I am going to do during this time.
Well, I am hoping to work - pay off creditcards, save money for future outreaches, mission trips.
As a matter of fact I already got a job offer from a bakery/café in Saas Fee (Valais, Switzerland) and I've got two more job interviews tomorrow and on Friday - both in Switzerland as well.
I also want to spend this time to recharge my batteries, continue to work together with God on defining my vision, finding out more about His plans for my life.
And last but not least I want to renew friendships, spend time with people - family, friends, church and through this figure out things with my church for future missions.

Keep in touch
love, Hanna
